Guild Wars Free Preview Weekend Is Upon Us!

Starting at 12:01am this evening, the GW Factions Chapter 2 preview event will begin!!
Check out the website for information about signing up, playing and what will be involved in the preview weekend. There's also a wicked cinematic trailer now avaliable as well. Just when you think a cinematic trailer can't be topped, you have to check this out even, if you're not a fan of the game!
The front page has all the info right on it, with appropriate buttons and links for all the info you need!

Guild Wars Chapter 2 news and Free Preview Weekend!!

Players will get their first chance to experience the new campaign when ArenaNet opens its servers to everyone for the Guild Wars: Factions Global Free-for-All PvP Weekend. This worldwide event—scheduled for January 20 through 22—is open to both existing Guild Wars players and to those who do not have a Guild Wars account. ArenaNet is distributing free access keys to the event at http://www.guildwars.com
The event will enable players to experience two new professions being introduced in the campaign, the Assassin and the Ritualist. Participants will also be able to try out a number of the skills added to Guild Wars: Factions, including some of the deadly skills of the Assassin and the arcane spells of the spiritual Ritualist. They will also be able to get familiar with the new PvP continent, Battle Isles. Battle Isles will introduce players to new PvP experiences, new and expanded arenas, new quests, and a new explorable area as well.

WoW Expansion

While this is old news and only a (very) few of us are playing WoW I thought I'll post a little blurp about the upcoming WoW expansion. It's called "The Burning Crusade" and features a host of new stuff, including 2 new races, a new continent to explore, flying mounts, new high-level dungeons, new professions, etc, etc. It is still many moons away, probably not earlier than 3rd or 4th quarter of 2006, but if you want to take a look what's coming check out the short trailer on the official Blizzard expansion web site:http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/burningcrusade/

GUILD WARS ~ Still Kicking!!

Yeah, that's right. What's it been now? A year since the Beta? And this game is still... STILL leaving no ass unkicked. And it continues to get better with frequent updates and rock solid stability. And! We've brought in some new friendly faces to help round out the Guild! Stop by the forums to say hello to some of our new Guildies. They are, if nothing else, quite smurfy.
We've even gotten our own Guild Hall!! Yes, readers... we've arrived. It's rather nice, too. There's an herb garden, sun room for crumpets, sauna bath, and no end to the (sometimes naked) frolicking. Come frollick, won't you? >8)
