Cheif Sitting Duck, an old ShredCo friend from back in the Q3 days, joined the clan the other day. He's the 28th member right now, and the 49th overall in the past 10 years. And yes, he knows his name is spelled wrong. Welcome, Duck!

In honor of the Duck joining us, Assembler has put the old Q3 Instagib server back online. We tested it out last night and it's humming along just fine. It's at ts2.shredco.com

Yes, kids... nine years have elapsed since this crew got rolling. Right now we're sort of parked, but still having fun with the new titles coming out. GW is still going strong, there's at least one WoW regular amongst us and now Quake4 is getting some play. That mythical clan reuniting title has yet to come along (we've been waiting since Q1 faded), but I'm still hopeful. Happy Birthday SC!!

Yeah, that's right... this clan is actually 8 (eight) friggin' years old. Holy cow... and still active with all original members intact (huh.. he said member). Although it's getting increasingly harder to find more than two of us on any one server at a time. I blame it on all the good titles out there these days (and wives, and kids, and taxes...). Ahhh... I long for the days when there was only one: QUAKE. And we ripped it up for insane amounts of time. Happy Birthday Shredders!!!

It's been a long time (a very long time) since we've added a new member to ShredCo. Actually if I'm not mistaken then the last one to join the SC ranks was BMWM3, and that was good 18+ months ago. So we are happy to announce that Rudemood is the newest addition to ShredCo. He's been playing PlanetSide with some of us for the past couple of months, and a few years ago he was known as the "StormCrow" when he played on our Tribes server (together with The Wookie).

So, what do you think? Drastically different, yet definitely my favorite version of the ShredCo site to date. A few months back, Quasi & Assembler decided that the site would benefit from being converted to PostNuke from PHPNuke, and enlisted me to redesign the front-end. What you see is the result.
